A Communal Journey toward Healing.
This Circle will meet for (1) year beginning March 6, 2025, and concluding February 26. 2026, 4 virtual sessions, and a 2-day in-person retreat that includes accommodations and meals, set for November 2025!
We will unite once every quarter to journey toward healing and wholeness in #community and #sisterhood with dynamic 2-hour group sessions with our Wellness clinicians.
Wellness⭕ will run as a small hybrid group of 12-15 women with an in-person retreat in our journey!
Deposit Required: $200.00.
Wellness⭕ Total: $1500.
Includes a 2-day in-person retreat, with accommodations & meals.
All materials, virtual sessions, the retreat, and one-to-one time with the clinicians.
Program Total is payable over 5 months, from the date #theCircle⭕️ commences which is Thursday, March 6, 2025 @ 7:00 pm, EST.

Session 2. Unpacking Trauma: Getting behind your mask.
Nov. 13 - 18, 2025 (In-person, 2-day Retreat).
Session 3. The Mask as a coping mechanism: Who taught you to put on a mask?
February 26, 2026,
Final Session 4. Re-Authoring: Myths, Removing Mask, and Re-Imaging Healing - (Practices and Rituals).
We will also meet for monthly sister check-in’s. (dates will be chosen once theCircle is formed).

Dr. Kelly U. Farrow, Our Visionary!
In her transparent, and authentic way Dr. Farrow is blazing a trail as a "Nouveau Legend" (New Legend). Not only is she a dynamic social entrepreneur, but Dr. Farrow is also a sought-after theologian, business woman, and scholar invited to give sermon talkbacks, preach, lecture, and lead bible studies and workshops on eloquently blending subjects from the marketplace to theology.
The Kelly U. Farrow Institute for Black Preaching and Education, also know as "The K. Institute," which houses Circle of SacredFire⭕ is rapidly expanding to include a number of signature events to meet the demand of leaders of today! "The K. Institute" continues in the tradition of educating clergy and lay leadership in the steep history of black preaching, social justice, and leadership development with a vision that includes podcasts - "Candid Conversations”, which centers transparent social justice conversations and leadership development, and the “Flourish Preaching Conference podcast" centering conversations that Heal, Transforms, and Liberates which features some of the most brilliant minds in black preaching, womanism, and leadership. In 2025, Dr. Kelly is partnering with clinicians in the field of mental health and wellness to develop effective self-care practices, and mental health paradigms for black clergy with the introduction of Wellness Circle⭕.

Dr. Antoinette Alvarado.
Rev. Dr. Antoinette G. Alvarado is the Co-Pastor of Grace Church International, Founder and Executive Director of My Sister’s Keeper Foundation for Women and President of Targeted Living Coaching & Consulting, LLC. Dr. Toni as she is affectionately called, is a dynamic preacher, teacher, and workshop presenter, serving in national and international conferences.
Dr. Toni is the author of Run and Not Be Weary: The Pursuit of Purpose and Destiny, Stoking the Fire of Your Dreams, Harmonize Your Life: A Journey Toward Self-Care and co-authored Let’s Stay Together: Relationship Strategies for Successful Marriages with her husband Dr. Johnathan E. Alvarado. She is the Founder of the Harmonize Your Life Women’s Self-care Network, Retreat Leader for the Harmonize Your Life Women’s Self-Care Retreat, and the host of Harmonize Your Life: Conversations on Self-Care for Women of Color Podcast.

Dr. Jamie Eddy Chism, CT®, CTP.
Rev. Dr. Jamie Eaddy is a public theologian, thanatologist, grief counselor, and activist with over 20 years of experience in transformative education, ministry, and community service. As the founder of Thoughtful Transitions, LLC, Dr. Eaddy integrates practices that support spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being for individuals and communities through life’s most challenging transitions, particularly at the intersection of faith, race, gender, grief, and social justice.
As Director of Counseling Services and Grief Doula at the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP), Dr. Eaddy leads a clinical and non-clinical team that provides trauma-informed care to violence and crime survivors. She has also consulted for various Philadelphia-based organizations, including the Mayor’s Office for Public Engagement, and national organizations, including the Office for Victims of Crime, to support the development of professionals addressing grief and trauma.

Dr. Brenda Perry Wallace.
Reverend Dr. Brenda Perry Wallace is a certified Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) Certified Educator. She has also done mission work where she taught ministers at the United Theological College of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. She has served in the parish as an Assistant Pastor of Oakhurst Baptist Church in Decatur, GA and the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. To preach in the same pulpit as the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was one of Brenda’s highest achievements.
Dr. Wallace developed a community ministry program and served as the Director of Chaplaincy in the south Atlanta community known as The Villages of East Lake formerly known as “Little Vietnam” in Atlanta, GA a very troubled inner-city low-income community. Some of her publications include: A Womanist Approach to Pastoral Care and the Use of African American Spirituals in Theologies From REM’s Women of Color: Racial Ethnic Multicultural Network (Watermark Press 2003)

Dr. Erica Geralds.
Rev. Erica D. Geralds is a Trauma-Informed Womanist Therapist, Counseling Supervisor, Chaplain, and Ordained Minister, whose work bridges the intersection of psychology, theology, and social justice. With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Mercer University. Rev. Erica is deeply committed to healing, empowerment, and advocacy for marginalized communities. Rev. Erica currently serves as the Assistant Director of Counseling & Psychological Services at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. as well as and is the Co-Executive Director of Platform of Hope Services, which is her private practice.
As a queer practitioner and activist, she is deeply committed to social justice, reducing racial mental health disparities, and destigmatizing therapy for marginalized communities. Rev. Erica consults and partners with to deepen mental health ministries and has led training sessions for women in ministry, LGBTQIA+, and BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, & Women of Color).

Dr. Danielle Buhuro.
Rev. Dr. Danielle J. Buhuro is passionate about issues of race, gender and sexuality. Dr. Buhuro serves as Executive Director and Lead CPE Supervisor of Sankofa CPE Center, LLC — which offers innovative online Clinical Pastoral Education programming along with unique social justice-oriented clinical work settings and prepares clergy chaplains for board certification. She is also the Director of Movement Chaplaincy for Faith Matters Network. Dr. Buhuro is author of “Spiritual Care In An Age of #BlackLivesMatter: Examining the Spiritual and Prophetic Needs of African Americans Living In A Violent America.” Rev. Dr. Danielle J. Buhuro has also served as a CPE Supervisor at Advocate Aurora South Suburban, Trinity and Christ Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois.

Rev. Nancy Kingwood.
Rev. Nancy Kingwood is the Executive Director of GBAPP, Inc. (The Greater Area Bridgeport Prevention Program). She leads a multi-disciplinary team while guiding strategic direction, ensuring operational effectiveness, and promoting sustainability all in service of the mission and vision. She serves as an Associate Minister at Mount Aery Baptist Church, Senior Leader at the Healing Place, and the visionary of Nancy Kingwood Ministries, LLC, a ministry dedicated to exclusively serving women.
Rev. Nancy holds two degrees in Human Services, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Management from Springfield College, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Hartford International University. She has earned a certificate from the Black Ministries Program at Hartford Seminary as well as a certificate in Public Theology. Rev. Nancy has worked with several national organizations including the National Black Church Initiative and The Metropolitan Non-denominational Capacity Building Network, providing capacity building and technical assistance to faith-based organizations.
